today I explained to co-workers that I have an online diary. they all thought I was crazy. one of them noted that she doesn't have enought time for her real friends, much less her fake cyber friends. I thought that was laughable but kept my dirty little mouth shut. the problem with having spent inordinate amounts of time alone over the past two and a half years is that being in league with normal people in an office environment is like having your brain opened up on an examining table and explored for the good of science: everyone keeps a polite and studious distance.
i find i am less patient now. and i think it's a good thing. more on that later.
