I'm getting promoted.
Well, sort of.
A writer in my department is going on leave and they want me to fill in for her. This will effectively triple the number of stories I write per week.
Hooray!!
Oh, except I will still have to do a large portion of my clerical duties and I will get no monetary compensation.
And then when the writer returns I will be demoted again.
Hmmm.
But I'm cool with it. Really because, as I recall, the last time I was fucked up the ass with no lube I actually sort of liked it. Then again, I was also drunk.
I assume this promotion means that I will be able to drink on the job.
