i have this past life that i don't talk about. not because it is a secret, but because no one i know now really knew me then. it was me. only different. sometimes i wonder about that girl. did she make it? i think she is still out there. staring at los angeles' lights instead of san jose's. i would like to meet her again one day, just to see how she turned out.
