A friend of a friend said that when domesticated parakeets escape from their cages they don't quite know how to fly properly.
So they just fly straight up.
And up, and up and up -- way into the clouds.
Until eventually the air gets too thin and it's too damn cold for small tropical birds to fly.
Then they just fall.
So why have I never been hit by frozen parakeet?
