The truth is I should have stuck with my natural haircolor. And I should have kept dancing.
I should have gone on to graduate school and written pretentious papers on Psychoanalytic French Feminism and gone to France to read original texts at the Ecole Normale Superiore or-however-you-spell-it.
Then I would be brilliant, bi-lingual, lithe-yet-muscular and my hair would have an incomparable softness and sheen.
Or I'd be just as pissed off as I am right now.
Who knows?
At least now I have a by-line.
