i am very selfish with my time. i will spend an evening at home by myself in my pjs, cooking a meal and reading a book, rather than go out into the world to attend a social occasion that may or may not live up to my expectations. i know this disappoints people sometimes, and occasionally i feel bad about it. but mostly i think that i give a lot of energy to the people i care about, and when i want to be alone that's just how it has to be. i like it that way.
